How come Twitter NEVER “fact-checks” Democrats when they lie?

In case you have not noticed, Twitter is on a censorship spree all of a sudden, having targeted several recent tweets by President Trump with “fact-check” notifications. But how come Democrats who flat-out lie on Twitter are never given this same treatment?

For daring to warn that mail-in voting might end up creating more voter fraud in the upcoming election, Trump had his two-part tweet marked with a Twitter exclamation mark and a hyperlink entitled, “Get the facts about mail-in ballots.”

Clicking on this link takes users to a “Twitter Safety” page claiming that Trump’s tweet “could confuse voters about what they need to do to receive a ballot and participate in the election process.” There is also a corresponding link on the same page to a CNN article entitled, “Trump makes unsubstantiated claim that mail-in ballots will lead to voter fraud.”

Also included on the “Twitter Safety” page is a link to Twitter’s “civic integrity policy,” which basically claims that mail-in ballots are without flaw. It also accuses those who claim there could be risks with mail-in voting of “manipulating or interfering in elections.”

Meanwhile, at least 12 Democrats falsely claimed back in 2017 that Trump praised the neo-Nazis who rioted in Charlottesville, Virginia, calling them “very fine people.” The truth, of course, is that Trump “condemned totally” these neo-Nazis, and was merely making a point that not everyone there protesting was a neo-Nazi.

These lying Democrats include Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, Gretchen Whitmer, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Ilhan Omar, Maxine Water, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, and of course two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

But did Twitter apply fact-checks to any of these inaccurate posts? Of course not, the reason being that the left is allowed to say whatever it wants on Twitter without consequence, while conservatives are muzzled from saying pretty much anything that leftists find “offensive.”

Remember when Democrat Jerry Nadler warned that mail-in voting is not a good idea?

Trump was clear in expressing his support for non-violent protesters on both sides, and condemning the death of left-wing protester Heather Heyer. Never once did he call neo-Nazis “very fine people.”

But this lie continues to make the rounds on Twitter with not even an attempt on Twitter’s part to set the record straight. Leftists are free to lie all day long on the platform, but the moment a conservative, or even Trump himself, brings up voter fraud, the hammer falls.

Keep in mind that Democrat Jerry Nadler warned back in 2004 that mail-in voting is probably not a good idea because it opens up the door to fraud and manipulation. And nobody questioned him when he made these statements.

“Paper ballots are extremely susceptible to fraud,” were Nadler’s exact words some 16 years ago. “I can show you with experience which would make your head spin.”

Were Trump to have tweeted these same words today, Twitter would have immediately flagged the post and linked to a “fact-check” page stating that the president is wrong and spewing “misinformation.” Twitter also would have accused Trump of trying to interfere with the upcoming election.

Left-leaning Americans apparently have a very poor memory about these types of things because many of them are buying into the narrative that Trump’s warning about mail-in voting is somehow new and automatically false. For claiming to champion the “facts,” these people sure love to play politics with the truth.
